Has anyone else notice that the cached pages that show on google have old page information after this last update?

I haven't :?:

google indexs my site very often though, so the cache normally has the most updated version.

A PR update has nothing to do with your cached site. The cache all depends on how many times your site gets spidered, which may have a direct relation on your PR. My higher PR sites usually get spidered from daily to a couple times a week.

Do you control this with your meta tags with the revisit-after or is it because of the PR that google visits more?

Do the search engines even pay attention to the revisit-after tag?

This often happens on a few of my sites.

Note sure why, but Google usually catches back up after a few weeks.

I took over a site back in December '03. I ended up taking the site down completely, and just having every URL that came up point to a single page through a redirect, so peoples' links and bookmarks would still let them know what was going on.

Google still has around 160 pages in its index, with way way way old caches on pages that haven't existed in 6 months.
