We are currently adding a asp program called Absolute Live Chat from a company called xigla. Does anyone know if there is any issues with installing these sort of programs? Basically its all web based and we put a code string into the sites footer. My question is will this effect the way spiders index our site? Hope this makes sense...

You can prevent the bots from even spidering the chat directory by simply dissallowing them in your robots.txt file

Here's a tutorial on robots.txt so you can customize what bots can or cannot crawl

Unless you really want them to index your chat you can use that to prevent it and not have to worry about it.
