"Post your link bait in blogs and forums."...

I don't think so that link bait is advisable at all...after all the rumors that came that it is some kind of a black hat...But it is 50/50 basis for me...I think you need to be careful of doing this, if you abuse it we can considered it as black hat...

"Post your link bait in blogs and forums."...

This is a good technique if your intension is also good. But it is considered as blackhat if you place a link bait to unrelated topic.

link baiting is very useful to my site also...
is link baiting consider as a blackhat technique?

Most people wouldn’t consider link baiting as a legitimate organic tactic because it seem like a black hat technique...Anyone can explain how it happen?

Maybe when they overused it,. Like inventing stories just to caught attentions,.

Exactly right cEejay and some ppl are still creating fake stories
to use as "bait" for links.

Linkbait is just a new term for irresistible content.

If you want others to link to your site, put some tasty morsel
in front of them; they will bite into it and love it and link
to it.

fuking simple

Link baiting is a new way that seos' use to describe viral link building or viral marketing. It is something on your website that makes people link to your site.

Very linkable, high-quality content is one of the best ways to target the engines naturally and build links through the social networks, blogs and news sites.

Link baiting is making a post or creating an article that you're readers want to see and read, then adding link into text. It is like enticing a reader to click and read more

Effective link building through link baiting.
There is a tactic out there embraced by bloggers but rarely used by typical websites. It is called Link Baiting.

Can someone throw more light on this?
