Confused by search engines

Hi Guys

When people do a search for my site using keywords search engines are listing only my Meta Title and Meta description and no content from any of my pages in the search results?, but it does for other websites.

I'm i doing something wrong , my content is contains keywords.

Give it time and remember get as many links as possible to point back to you...SE are only indexing your meta tags then that means that they aren't crawling your page organically, most probably because you don't have enough links point back at the site.

It is random what they display. Sometimes they will display your meta title, sometimes they will display your DMOZ title. Same with the description. Sometimes it displays my description tag, sometimes it displays content on my site, sometimes it displays my DMOZ description. Since it is displaying your meta description, I would try to make that description as "grabbing" as possible for searchers.

Mine often shows my meta content. Maybe you should look into that.

It is true that search engines generally listing meta title and Meta description but some time meta description is also not important if you have good quality of page contents. Because Search engines have tendency to display a relevant para from your site when you are not suggest your meta description.
