hi everyone,
i just wanna ask what would be the effects of deadlinks in SEO.
the site that i've been optimizing have been down for about a week. maybe there's a problem with the hosting. our SERP position is going down and i dont know when will the site be activated. i dont have any idea of what's going on because my client have been offline since the site gone down.
is there a possibility that the site could be banned in SEs? or is it more likely to happen that when the site is up, im gonna start SEOing it all over again?

dude.

I donno why its so
but i tend to agree with you.. somewhat./.

I had my site down for a few days.. cuz my web hosting company pulled out on me.
and my site rankings plunged down. from top few positions to rock bottom.

Before the update of course..

Dead links will definetly effect the "traffics" as well as "page quality". That's why you should check the backlinks in order to remove the dead links from your link page.

You can check your sites internal links whether is there any dead links or not.You also check 404 page error if it occurs then make it redirecting to any other page like home page.Check the dead links through:http://www.dead-links.com.
