i've heard about people giving away free hits?
anyone had experience with them as i am looking to increase traffic to my videos site http://ilumu.com
or even better, anyone here got any to give away, lol

I don't think such a thing can become a real matter online either.

Maybe the point you are referring to is like some traffic building packages offering trial options to their customers for a limited time.

Nothing is free my friend.
If you want traffic then Try to write some good quality articles related to your business and submit it on various article directories like funduarticles.
You can achieve good one way links to your site using this meachanism. Rest all depends on your company home page.
Make sure you read all directory specific guidelines before submitting your articles.
