I have a doubt!

Hi all,

Google updated the back link on 28th October, I had submitted bsindia.com to lot of directories, and they cached the data's but did not counted as back link!
Why it is so?
Can all of you give your view? Suggest me someway to increase my back links in future.

There are two reasons for i can think of:

1. Pages which link to your site have not yet reached level of being counted as linking pages

2. Google update shows results a bit outdated.

It is all up to google to decide when to update backlinks first or at a later stage. there is no definite answer to your question, I find...

Google doesn't show a true reflection of sites backlinks,

Try checking in yahoo.
