Ok, This post is going to prove just how clueless I am :oops:
I went to http://www.gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go
and checked out our site http://www.redcellpaintball.com and it came back with some stuff that was way over my head but what I did notice is that it seems as if we don't have ANY key words or phrases in our header, this is got to be a problem. Can some one please go to http://www.gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go
and type in our site address and check things out and then make some suggestions? I know this is a lot to ask but I would really appreciate it!
Thanks guys!

The only thing you have is a title really, no meta tags whatsoever.

Code: [ Select ]
<meta name="description" content="your description here">

<meta name="keywords" content="your, key, words, here">
  1. <meta name="description" content="your description here">
  2. <meta name="keywords" content="your, key, words, here">

Your title and description tags are what search engines will use for a listing.

Listing as in what you see when you scroll through search results, not rankings...wanted to make that clear.

Warning: No h1, h2 or h3 Headings were found.

The only thing i got back from it was that warning. Thats simply telling you that you have no <h1> or <h2> or <h3> tags in your code.......

Not earth shatteringly worrying ;)

Actually although I would always reccomend having a description tag, I have a site that ranks excellent with just title tags in the serps.

Keyword tag is dead - don't worry about that.

If you just have title tags - the engines will use your page content to get a description from which can be a real benefit in some cases.

How reliable would you say that is Jess?

I just make it a habit to use description and keyword tags. :)

It's great practice to just put the meta tags in without thinking so your doing the right thing :)

However from my experience if the description tag isn't there (I've only ever done this on a few sites mind) - the engines just use the page content (major engines anyway). I get some great rankings from them.
