help with search engine

hey every1,

i have a site called: globicmedia.com
i want to have it so that when somebody types in either: burn lounge: or globic media it appears near the top or just on the search engines page... like google searching...

im not sure of an effective way to do this: many attempts (more failures):
i do description and content meta tags but for some reason it never even shows on the search engines... maybe im making the meta tags wrong?
any help would be awesome

there could be a number of reasons for this ...

How many links do you have to your site?

Where is the site hosted? I did a site for someone who promptly placed it on a free hosting provider. Never shows on a Search, but an exact copy placed with my own hosting provider appeared OK after a while.

How long has your site been up?

And there are probably another hundred reasons that the gurus could come up with

BTW - I had a call from the guy with the 'free-hosted' site last night - he wants me to move it for him, asap. That should sort out next weeks beer budget ...

This whole forum is about proper SEO. If you are not going to pay a company to do this, you will have to do research. You can find almost all the answers your looking for in the OZZU threads. Then, if you have specific questions, you can post them.
