What would be concidered good traffic for a business site?

I'm curious if there is a kind of grade scale:
700-800 hits a day = A
550-699 = B
300-549 = C
150-299 = D
0-149 = F

These are of course my own numbers, but how do you know if your site is doing well?

Is there any way to check the competitons numbers?

I saw some site taffic in other forums ranging from 1000 + traffic a day and still not happy, this is because that its just visits and no positive customers.
Even if you have a million traffic a day and dont have positive customers, its use less, in terms of income is concern

When the traffic brings overall good conversion rate and good ROI it should be considered a good traffic otherwise it is only number.

700-800 unique visitors a day is a good traffic. I wish I could have on my site.

For that information, check your Alexa Traffic and it explains if you have a good traffic on your site.

I'm not relying to much on alexa as it is not accurate.

Traffic means visitors and visitors means customers, if the contents are good then visitors can be unlimited..
my site has 500 to 700 visitors and i think its good for the starter..

If your site getting new traffics everyday and when you have returning traffics, it means that your site has a good and informative content..And your bounce rate is low..
