1. How can I improve my website traffic, and how can I improve my alexa ranking availably?
2. What's the different between "Search Engine Index Listing" and "Website Traffic"? (Search Engine Index Listing like the Google search "site:www.domain.com")

Why do you have any interest in improving your Alexa ranking. Shouldn't your primary concern be to drive targeted traffic towards your site?

Do you honestly think that potential visitors are going to check your site's PageRank or Alexa ranking before deciding to visit your site? No.

You guys really need to stop focusing on trying to increase some abstract number attached to your site and start putting your efforts into things that matter. Sure, targeted traffic can't always be measured with a single number or reference point to obsess about, but if you're not capable of understanding SEO and advertising beyond that level, then you have no business in the industry.

Thanks spork, your advice are very helpful for me. Yeah, the alexa ranking and PR are all not so value for us, but it's our boss to request about, I must follow them. Also, they are all the measurement criteria of SEO.

its completely depend on traffics to your site.

You can see for some sites that they have PR 4 but alexa rank are about 20 to 30 lacs means those sites have less incoming traffics.


So if you need good alexa rank then you should do traffics promotional work for your site like forum posting, social bookmarking and networking etc.

i think you should tell us what kind your website platform ? dynamic or statics website ? its better you have dynamic website cause i think search engine like for dynamic website than statics website.

everytime you submit your url to search engine, they will track by sending the bot spiders, if your content doesnt change in periodics i think the bot will marking your site as duplicate url and will indexed just one times only.
