Just got excepted in DMOZ directory

This morning I checked my stat and I saw that one of my sites go listed in DMOZ. :D

I can see a slight change in my keyword rankings in google SERPS

One of my keywords wen to 11 from 1,390,000,000 other websites :D

Yeah DMOZ really carrries allot of weight in Google. Oddly enough so does the Yahoo directory, in fact getting in the Yahoo dir. was the best $200 I ever spent online!

but its hard to accept from the list if you are in free listing..

can you share with us which category you applied to and how long ago aswel. Its great you got listed but you could also give us some info so we can guage our own experience to yours.

how many times did you submit?
Over how long?
Category?
etc

Right it take probably a months or a weeks...Good for lajocar his/her site was listed...

Actually mine either, I admit that its hard to be included in DMOZ...I just want to asked some advice to others that was included already...

Yeah bad news for us...but if there is no feedback in about 6 months can we resubmit our site to DMOZ again?

Every category is different. It all depends on the editor, when the category was last updated, and how many sites are ahead of you waiting to get in.

So how can I know that I need to resubmit my site? and probably how long? Is it appropriate to do resubmission?

When it comes to DMOZ, do not submit too often.

psyche... if it's been 6 months you can submit again.

I would wait 3-4 month between submitting.

I got accepted on Friday(submitted a week ago!!!!) Today i noticed that my website has got PR 1

Aviation Earth(http://www.aviationearth.com) is 2 months old......
