i just used this meta tag analyzer at http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-eng ... lyzer.html

and it showed sumthing weird like this

Your site displayed on a search engine page

VXDESIGNS MAIN - tutorials, scripts, links, graphics
dropmenudiv position absolute border 1px solid 9c9c9c font normal 10px tahoma line height 18px z index 100 dropmenudiv a width 100 display block color 355374 background color f4f5f7 text decoration ...

http://www.vxdesigns.com

I would like to know the part which has my drop down menu script shouldnt there be my description tag information instead of this ??? How can i make it so that it shows description tag instead of this script on my page ??? Thanks in advance[/blur]

Hey buddy
Really cool website. Awesome design

You need to clean up your HTML:

- Link your JavaScripts & CSS scripts externally
You have "showDateShort 1 var showDate 2 var showDateTime 3", etc flooding the content of your page.
- Redo your keywords
you have way too many keywords! You might think that if you have a diverse range of keywords that you can be picked up in SE's easier, but the truth is your meta tag is TOO diverse - your keywords need to be relevant to the ACTUAL content of your page.

Hopefully that will sort out your problem "as it appears in search engines"

Some useful tools:
http://www.submitexpress.com/linkpop - check out your linkpopularity and that of two competing sites, you can also check what websites are linking to them and do the same or similar.
http://www.submitexpress.com has more useful tools I use regularly aswell.

Hope this helps, cheers

I use that widex all the time. It's wonderful. Just follow everything it says and make the adjustments to your website.

Take a look at mine - I tuned it with Widex a couple of nights ago.

http://www.pc-man.com

Run that through the Widex page and you'll see something widex loves.

You've got a lot of work to to on that site - all behind the scenes work.

I just looked at your site through widex - it told you everything you need to know.

No robots.txt - make one.
missing metatags. add them.

Your description metatag isn't formed properly - look at your keyword metatag and notice the difference.

All the info you need is in the widex report.
