I have a network of linked Web sites. I read somewhere that the Search Engines do not bother indexing a site if it has less than five pages.
Is this correct?
Should point out some of our sites have 80 to 100 pages.
Would appreciate an informed answer.
Thanks

I wouldn't believe the rumor you have read. If a website has only 5 pages but people link to it, I see no reason a search engine wouldn't index the website.

Is it joke? I've any sites with 3 pages. No problem for indexing by SE.

I think it will get indexed but it appears that Google does like the bigger websites.

Yeah, i would also say that its ok with websites with less pages for google but more the pages there will be more information or knowledge or content available in a website with more no or pages.

You can have only a single page and get indexed. 80 to a 100 pages is alot.
