Hi,
I am creating a new website for a small boutique hotel. I haven't worked with search engines in a while and things may have changed. Can you give me advice on what I should and should not do?

We have to get good placement in search engines and look forward to any wisdom you have on how to get this.

thanks,
Al

You will have to do some search engine optimization on your site to improve your rankings in the SERPs.

Work on getting backlinks to your site.

I think.... if you are targetting Google then there is some shift in SEO.....
You have to concentrate more on content and backlinks as usual but should also try to optimize your site for personal search and latent semantic indexing strategy....

Traditional SEO practices may change in near future.....
