can any body tell me how to build a local search engline for my site.
Dot have money to purchase can i get it for free .. without pop up or adds :!:

You could try http://php.warpedweb.net/sitesearch/ if you're using plain HTML files on your site (rather than database driven)

If you are still looking for a search engine script then have you tried looking through hotscripts.com

They list a large amount of scripts include search engine related scripts where some are free under the GPL
