Hello,
I have just started a new search engine and need peoples URL's to add to our data base really bad...well I was thinking maybe you would put something on your website that would send people to us to submit their URL's, it's FREE.
Please anything you can do would really be a big help to us.
Thank you,
Don Dion

How does your search engine actually work? Does it just search through the submitted URL's and pick from that list? Have you considered spidering people's websites to assimilate the data?

Hello,
Yes I have thought of using a meta crawler for the search engine, and that would be something I will do in the future. But for now this search engine uses the key words and description you enter directly into its data base, you can edit your inputs (URL's), update them etc. There is no limit on how many key words you use, or on how many URL's you add to your account. The search engine is "fair" to it's accounts by cycling the URL's so everyone can get good exposure.
I have allot of traffic from people using the search engine, but I really need more URL's to make it more useful to the surfers who are searching on it.
Thanks,
Don Dion

jake2003 - please do not crosspost. I removed your other thread with
the same subject and post, and moved this one here.

Ok...sorry about that, I think I got confused a bit while posting. Thanks for moving it to the right place.

Good luck with the site, Jake... it's hard work getting a SE going.
