New site how to approach ?

Hello need some help i'm currently looking into working on my second site (although the first is not even near completion) and need some help on the steps i should take after the design is finished. I would like to know the order you guys/girls would take when the site is almost ready for launch?

Also does it help in search engines to have the key word such as "loft conversions" in the title of the web site?

I'm still very need to this and the last site i was only picking up certain optimization knowledge.

I think your question is probably a little too general.
When i design a new site i design it immediately with the engines in mind.Thats because i have the experience to do that.

Others i know design their sites and then optimize it for the engines afterwards....

Having your keywords in the title of your web pages is very important.
Almost as important as getting links pointing at your site with optimized anchor text
