Hi ObjectsSearch,

Would you mind giving us a quick spin on its main features and advantages!? I checked it out quickly, but only a few search results turned up, so I was wondering how you generate your results and whether you index the web yourself.

Sorry for late response.Been little busy.

We index the web ourself .Also check new clustering technology for automatic categorization, it will help find user best search results now you can search images, news and weblogs too.

The index is also growing and now you will find more results and it will keep growing.

Are you aware that http://www.objectsdirectory.com/ is in breach of the ODP License agreement?

Just thought I would let you know just incase you are wondering how the submissions where going - I see a few submissions have been deleted for this very reason. Whilst it is in breach it will be unlistable in DMOZ.

Nice search by the way. Impressive!

Thanks.I like dmoz too it is nice resource.

Is google droping dmoz ?, Google seems to be having problem with dmoz. Found in article :

Demoting the directory may also be a way for Google to eventually distance itself from from the Open Directory Project, which powers it. The volunteer-produced directory was added back in 2000, near the height of the Open Directory's popularity.

Today, there are often complaints that the ODP, has not keep up with submission demands. In addition, there have been delays in getting the most current data out in a format that ODP partners such as Google can use.

There is little more about it.

Want to point out that now we have started adding documents on our search engine technology, so you can see how it works and information relating to its structure and how it process search query .

It also shows the requirements to run your own "Nutch" based search engine.

Thanks.
