It will helps you to find RSS feeds links as well as for article posting links.
By this you can definitely more drive traffice on your site

I have a question, how do I create links in my signature that are keywords that link to my website? I've seen people doing it but obviously Im a newbie. I would appreciate any light on that subject. Thanks.

same the you have done on your signature. You can also put your keyword with particular link.
