That really does look "Cuil" ... Seriously ... I love the results that show in the "magazine like" layout ... I am going to use both Cuil and Google for a week or two now for the same searches and base my decision (on which one I'll prominently use) on the most relevant results ... according to me ofcourse ...

I like the display, as well. I'm not sure its results are up to snuff, yet, based on my intial examinations.

//How about this as a benchmark...

We didn’t find any results for “britney spears”
Some reasons might be...

a typo. Please check your spelling.
your search includes a term that is very rare. Try to find a more common substitute.
too many search terms. Please try fewer terms.
Finally, try to think of different words to describe your search.

Ozzu isn't even found in it. I may have banned their robot though. I will have to look into that.

You spelled her name wrong, should be "britney spears", but I get 0 results for the correct spelling... odd.

But...but... I like Google.

I had a discussion with a friend a while back. I realized that I rely on Google for a large number of things, especially in college: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, web search, etc. It was then that I realized that I'm ok with Google taking over pretty much every aspect of my life.

Google Food, Google DriveToWork (beta), Google Matress, Google Beer.

Ok, maybe not beer.

But this Cuil thing... I like the UI design, but I'm not sure I'll every really switch from Google. There's something inherently better about the simplicity of Google. The article talks about how "Google looks the same as it did 10 years ago, and will look the same a year from now."

I kinda hope so.

I checked it as well. It definitely looks cool. We will see if it perform better than Google...
I wonder if they have some webmaster tools? I would love to index my websites to search engine.

Something seems wildly inaccurate about their result counts. :scratchhead:

I get a few results relating to Ozzu, but not Ozzu itself.

That's nuts, I got zero results using that exact same search 45 minutes ago Spoof, now I've got roughly 83,000 results. :scratchhead:

// Edit -- Well that's just plain odd. If I click any of the page numbers, I get the zero results page again.
