From a user point of view id say lose some of those google ads .... i mean WOW .... why not just make a page full of them? It looks awfull.

From an SEO point of view what keywords are you targeting? It isn't obvious.

Gain links - use your targeted keywords as your anchor text.... that will get you some good progress.

from a design point of view, way too many fonts, colors, etc. you probably want those ads to blend in more ( why 4 of them ? ). Work on your keywords, load up overture's suggest tool and put in some fitness words. In general , read some seo articles.

Maybe it was everyone elses comments to you but you removed the link from your sig so I can't view your page..Anyways, umm make your pages content rich and get alot of backlinks. link exchanges are important and try to keep fresh content coming up on your page daily to keep the SE crawlers coming back - maybe a news section of some sort with new fitness excersizes or fitness news..good luckl

Hello,

Just thought id add my 2 pennies (ok i'm british) :

I recently made my asp and database designer site and configured it for the key words : asp coder - http://www.aspcoder.co.uk

in a week i was 1st in google and 1st in yahoo

unfortunately not many people search for those two words (which i thought they would lol) although i havnt had the site up for long, and am only beginning my business.

Some tips :

1. think up the keywords you want to configure the site for.

2. get a free program like 'Web CEO' to help you configure the pages into the keywords. - http://www.webceo.com/ (no i have no partnership with them lol)

3. Start getting as many links linking to your site (as that is what counts along with #2). If you do this right then you wont have to submit the url to google, they will find you anyway. (by me posting my link in this thread will get me noticed by google - probably).

4. Any forum you have, make sure its search engine friendly and use url rewrite (windows) /mod_rewrite (linux) just like this one is. it isnt rocket science to do. ive achieved it painlessly at http://www.aspcoder.co.uk/forum

thats all for now, hope theyre useful and not just repeats in this forum

ps. nice spellchecker btw, i only missed out the ' in I'm

thanks PhillipH, never thought about that forum rewrite issue. I'll be sure to check that out when I add a forum in a few weeks. Im pretty held up about redesigning my site right now. Then Im going for more relevant content and getting more of it. Then Im going for the forum.
