Hi guys I have a site http://www.brookdalehouse.com
At the moment the site is a static page as there are no links to it from any websites on the net. What is the best way to go about submitting my site to all search engines like google and yahoo? And how do I get the keywords submitted?

You can start by submitting it to the ODP. By doing this, once accepted, you will appear in every directory that uses and updates the copy of the ODP data that is freely made available.

I would suggest submitting to: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_ ... Breakfast/ as it is the most appropriate category for your site.

This is not an overnight solution but as a regional submission it is more likely to be listed (if accepted) earlier than the topical part of the directory.

Get links!

There are programs that actually automatically do this for you
Some of them are expensive, but there are some that are pretty cheap

Getting links from other sites and getting into the ODP are the best ideas to getting indexed quick.

I wouldn't reccomend any auto-submision services because they can cost a lot of money, and its everything you can do yourself.

I use them to submit to major Search engines and they come with no fees or obligations./
I use manual submission for the rest of se.

If it's free. Basically once you get some links, you will be indexed in one and eventually all of them. You do not need to re-submit either.

I am just saying you can easily do it for free so don't pay for it.

supposing that a directory with not that high Pr... is it worth submitting to it? I mean. the Pr may not be a clear indication of the amt of traffic the directory is having..

Anywhere, that is not a bad neighborhood or link farm and is free, go ahead and submit.

One example is askjeeves. I submitted a site there, no PR, but brings in about $500-600 in sales a month.
