ok to start off i know that if you have a content rich website then your going to get a higher ranking on search engines. however, my website has alot of content, but its all item descriptions for my store. I have been researching seo for about 2 weeks now and ive noticed there are alot of seo programs out there. I also know they can get you banned from search engines, but everything changed over time. because of this i wanted to know what other people think of using a program like Internet Business Promoter 8.1 to help with optimizing my website. are programs the right way to go?

feel free to post your opinion on it to help me with my research. thanks! :P

dont waste your time with SEO programs, your more likely to get banned using them. if your having problems doing SEO on your website then why not just pay for good listings with either Yahoo! Search Marketingor google adwords. Unless your in a really competitive market , Pay per click advertisingis a cost effective way to get traffic to your site that is targetted.
