My index page is not appearing for some keywords, it got disappeared for some major keywords. Please tell me what is the problem.

Other pages of the site are indexed properly but the index page has some problem with some major keywords.

Your keywords may be too competitive that your site is nowhere on the SERP map. You might try targeting a smaller niche and/or keep building links to your site, using your keywords as anchor texts. Good luck!
