Sitemap question

If you create a sitemap with all your links and it gets indexed, does that automatically mean that all your links on that sitemap will be indexed eventually?

as long as the site map is not some strange mix of Javascript and Flash it should indeed do the job 
Of course also make sure that the spider can find the site map page in the first place. Standard text link on home page will do it.
