Spider-Friendly Question

Could someone tell me if drop menus are spider-friendly: will a se spider follow the links?

It may depend on how the drop menus are working... if it is flash menus then they wont be read by spiders from what I have read.

Creating static anchor links / sitemap for search engines should ensure all links get noted - and hopefully indexed.

Others may be able to advise you more and better than me as I am still novice and learning the SEO techniques but it is clear that links need to be spider friendly in order to get read, followed and eventually indexed.
