It's still worth submitting URLs to Search Engines?

It's still worth a script for submitting URLs to Search Engines?

I have a script to submit a URL to 100+ Search Engines, but would this help to get my URL listed in search engines? Google says that submitting an URL won't help too much, but if it won't help to get the URL listed why they have the service?

its better to concentrate your efforts on the main three search engines, ie.. google , yahoo and msn

it would be better if you submit your site to directories and exchange links with other sites that are already listed in search engines.

if you are concerned with your PR, gather as many inbound links as you can.
