Just wondering if that attibute makes any difference with respect to seo. :roll:
(ie. for links from other websites to my website, or vice versa for that matter.)

Seems trivial, but just curious...:)

Makes not difference whatsoever mozzie :) I would imagine the search engine crawlers just ignore it altogether.

I agree it makes no difference with respect to your SEO ranking. However I do believe the crawlers will follow the links rather than ignore it. Inbound links and their rank are an integral part of Google page ranks.

For SEO I would also agree that it doesn't make any difference. But from a marketing perspective it's nice to use if you are linking off to a different domain.
