I am a little new at this. How do I find out the PRs of my sites? From reading I can see that a higher PR is good. What is the range (0-10?)? If I have a lower one, what can I do to improve it? While I am begging, backlinks... What makes a good one? I have a lot of websites that link to each other but they don't seem to show up as backlinks using the link tool??

I think submitting to search engines is not necessary. Just let those search engine robots find your site naturaly by following those with high PR website's links considering your site is listed to one of their web page. Another thing is, craigk mentioned his website's has all RP ranging from 3 to 4 so basically, he is already listed to google index.

the theory is if you link to a site with Higher PR you wont be giving away your own PR ranking, the current PR you have wont drop by 1 because of your page linking to another site is higher. a lower PR site could pull your PR down by 1.

was that confusing enough? lol
