how can i add more traffic to my site quickly?

Well as far as getting fast search engine traffic, I really think there is no way. To be successful at getting search engine traffic you first need to optimize your site for the search engine. After that you must build relationships with decent Page Rank sites which will allow you to get higher on the search engines with key words that are relevant to your site. Anyway as far as quick traffic with the search engines, i don't think it it possible, unless you want to pay hte Search Engines for ads, which I have done, and that is really fast. You could probably start receiving traffic from google within half an hour for extremely targeted words that you choose.

There are basically 3 ways to bring in traffic: Search Engines, Trading traffic / Link exchanges with other sites, or external advertising like through television, newspapers, magazines, and other media.

Search engines dont provide much traffic without word-of-mouth (which makes google either big traffic or no traffic at all because of their "popularity" system).

I depend solely on word of mouth and affiliating.

i do as well, but as bigweb is undoubtedly going to tell you in more
detail, SE's are very valuble.

But on the other hand, I also prefer to get my traffic through my own ads
or word-of-mouth. I currently don't have any affilliations.
