I am using phorum on a forum i set up. It doesnt support good looking urls. I am thinking of writing a little script that creates an alternative navigation through a simplistic layout.
Basically the same as vbulletin archive with one deference: instead of creating a whole low-fi version of the forum, to make the whole thing easy the topic inks would target the actual forum pages.
Will google find this ok? Having two urls pointing to the same page?

To google it will look like different (but identical) pages - if the URLs are different, it looks different in the index.

(If I've understood you correctly...)

I'm afraid you have not.
I wm interested to know if google just indexes it normaly of if it has some sort of duplicate content detection in order not to overrank seoed pages. Like, are those kind of techniques seen with good eyes from google or will have any sort of penalty because of them?
