AWStats

Many hosts offer this by default (pretty much all of 'em if you use Cpanel)

look sitewiz is the host and its crap.
it was chosen by a client.
not by myself.

i will transfer the domain later but rite now i need it online and i need some other software. sitewiz has dodgy control panel and lets say limited access to the host information.

unless you are willing to pay extra, which i am not.

any suggestions?

Yeah.

AWStats

You can also download it and install it on your own hosting space if you have access to the log files, even if you chose a crappy hosting company. :)

My company uses software called urchin.
http://www.urchin.com I believe it's around $800.

However there is free software which is less intense called webalizer.
