What is Alexa actualy good for?

Isn't primarly as far as that type of bot is concirned if you strive for a high google ranking Alexa falls into place. But what is Alexa actualy used for?

Its a very rough guide to popularity.

<20,000 = busy
<100,000 = fair
>100,000 = not very busy

I don't pay hardly any attention, but it is useful if your thinking of advertising on site, and are trying to guess the traffic.
