Hi,

I'm German and working for an Australian IT online store in Melbourne. My job is to find new link partner for there homepage. I'm really frustrated because I send already thousands of emails to different online stores in the area IT. I didn't get really further although we have a PR of 5. It is hard enough for me to understand all these staff in English. What can I do? What's the reason for this?
Is it really efficient to buy software or to write more emails?

Can someone help me please?

Hello...

Hi stewo, Having to exchange links cab be a pain, While you are on the right track by making the effort i feel that sometimes these companies arent looking for anything and dont have the time or patience for exchanging.

My suggestion would be to join a link exchange or several that have your specific catagory in mind. As you may already know it is in your best interest to link with other relevent sites as this will have the strongest impact. Please bear in mind that like anything link exchanging takes time it cant be done in 1 week or 1 month.

Another good idea for you would be to add your website to as many link directories as possible! Just make sure that they are SEO friendly, and give back direct static links.

I have a New directory that has also been converted to be a link exchange which offers multilingual translation and many options including 450 directory service were we will manualy add your site in other directories and save you time and effort.

We are as i said new but I invite you to join us for free, if you like...

Thank you
Malcolm

Hi stewo,

I can feel your frustration. I had to deal with the same problem as well which led me to creating a script that helps me exchange links with others. It worked really well for me and I decided to provide it for others as well. It's called BeSeen.

BeSeen automates link exchange but what's really cool about it is that each new user has option to join BeSeen community. BeSeen community allows users to quickly exchange links with each other. All it's needed is couple of clicks.

I use a website called LinkMarket, and have had good luck with them. It takes a lot of hard work out of the process and with a PR of 5 you should have no trouble getting links.

Check them out here: http://www.linkmarket.net
