Is it normal that after 4 months a site still has no page rank assigned to it or rather a rank of 0.

I have requested many links although many have not shown up yet when queried under line:sitedomain.

Just looking for input.

Well its normal, also depends on the quality of links that you have gained for your site....

Backlinks registering may take a few months to be registered in google, however you could have a look at this

http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot. ... links.html

This way you can check your backlinks crawled by google.

Also, this is a handy tool to research backlinks

Yes, you are right and usually google update page rank every three months. And it has been four months, the page rank is still not updated and we are using tools to check it. But maybe google is changing the algorithm of their site.

Please submit your site to the top search engines & top directories too.

Make some link exchanges, backlinks in your website.

I am sure this will give you the result within two months.

All the best

regards
Jerry

yeah bro, smart page page is the balls, incase you didnt know, there is a force refresh button at the bottom of the page where it has the PR buttons for your site, it is grey same as the box, clicking that will refresh your value and black links etc.

For the back link analyzer, i copied the /&force=true and tacked it to the end or the url and it refreshed it once, but only once :(

Hi friend,
I want to clarify one thing for u that the PR depends up on the site how u r promoting and depends upon the site also. Some sites will get the PR within 3 months also and it also depends on the quality of links that you have gained for your site....

Try to check in google if it shows your backlinks. If it is not showing any backlinks, then possible that your site is PR0.

yes, it all matters on the types of back links you have and also when google does a PR update, its usually once every couple months so dont worry you will get it soon if you do your SEO right :)
