I am wondering what people think.

I have a real ma and pa site. beginner isn't even the word for my talents.
Anyway. Recently I have been getting many hits on this site. Since I haven't promoted it. I was interested to find out why now is there all this traffic.
So I did a search on Yahoo. An I show up like number 3 on a real basic keyword. I have never registered with Yahoo so now I am more interested.
When I read the discription under my website listing it used my sloggen except where it would normally say my company name it list a name I never ever heard of. So now I am even more interested.
I log into my server and check my HTML and I notice the description in Yahoo is being pulled from my mata tags and some how it was changed ever so slightly.
So does this mean this company had to hack into my server and actually change my description?

If it lists a name you never heard of in place of your company's name, that might mean somebody made a copy of your Web site's text and replaced your company's name with theirs. Does the link in the search result actually point to your Web site? A better answer would be given if we were provided URLs of the search result and your site.

But did you actually register with Yahoo? As in: Did you go over to Yahoo and tell them your site address and get them to display it in their search engine?
