Links. I run a majority of seo campaigns purely on links only. Ok I may take 5 minutes to put the keywords into the title tag ....

But links is key for me.

Yea, I set a target, i say to myslef, this week Im getting 25 links, so i look for suitable sites and I get those links, its worked so far.
Also write articles to post on other sites with your link and get articles on your site for content.

Newsletter's a good one, especially once you start getting a coupla thousand people receiving it each month. It really helps to remind them that you still exist :)

Most of the sites I do these days are dynamically generated from content stored in a database. A lot of them are interactive with user registration/login, and other various dynamic doohickies that require sessions, etc. So, Job #1 for me with ANY site I make is to ensure that search engines CAN read and index each URL.

Nothing worse than creating a site with 10,000-20,000 pages of content, and having Google only list your homepage because every other URL ends in ?SESSION_ID=42a78f432742d6e487b263e4327 (or some such similar variant).
