Hey I just signed up for adsense and Im about to put it on my site. So my questions are how many clicks do you all get and how much money does that equate to. Also what is the deal with them needing my social security number?

These kind of numbers will vary for every single site...my experience with adsense was not all that great, # of clicks was low as was the pay per click...but then again, if you have higher paying keywords, you'll see better results...and it's against the TOS to give exact #'s

Not sure about the SS#, just a precaution I guess...I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about google using it with bad intentions though :P

Social security number is for tax purposes I am guessing. Also, if you ever decide to try to cheat the system, they will tie you to your social security number and it will be very difficult to ever get back in.

My experience for Adsense has been great, but it depends on a lot of factors...the industry your in, the cpc of your targeted keywords, and how good at seo you are. I started in April with one site, now I have about 5 sites and make a few grand a month.

I second that, but one very obvious factor is also the number of searches done for your keyword(s). No getting rich no matter the SEO and SERPS if your keywords are never sought after.

I have one site with adsense and making about one grand a month.

You should look over the ppc ads for this industry as well. I cannot see sites paying a lot of money for other people to look at jokes. And if the ppc ad costs are low, your going to get a pretty low percentage of that. I may be totally wrong, but I would look into that.

could people use google adsense, with site search, to search other people's website? or does that violate some agreement, if possible?
