If you recommend certain products you might want to try finding those sites that sell it, and offer your site as a reference for their visitors. You are a 3rd party validating their sale...why would't they want to link to you? Try a simple phone call to some of your local electronic stores or email the webmaster of the store site. You may not get overwhelmed with traffic but you could be seen as an authority on the subject and that is step one. Oh and that is a FREE way.

Id say you are better off advertising in web directories under computers,
there are so many online,so be carefull...Look it up in google,thats your best spot i think...

I'm looking for people to test out my free host's advertising system, and since your website is related to laptops - something most of my clients are interested in - I think it would be a great fit.

Right now I'm doing a promotion where the first 100 visitors are completely free.
