Lets say you have 5 websites, all using adwords code (the same adwords account).

Of those 5, you employ blackhat seo techniques on 2 of the 5.

Google busts you on the blackhat, and automatically (because you are using the same adwords account on all sites) reduces or bans all 5 sites as they know they are all operated by the same badguy using the blackhat seo.

Certainly possible, anyone know if they do such a thing?

Adsense says they don't monitor or penalize your websites based upon what they find on your sites using adsense... whether that's the case is a different story :P

Blackhat are things like cloaking pages, keyword stuffing, doorway pages, javascript redirects. Basically anything that will get you in trouble with the search engines.
