Anyone else have a problem with Adsense??? I just recieved the folowing e-mail;
It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the ads on your web pages. We have therefore disabled your Google
AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an
effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.

A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including
but not limited to clicks generated by a publisher on his own web
pages, clicks generated through the use of robots, automated clicking
tools, or any other deceptive software.

Practices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms
and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:

https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further
participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The
earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected
advertisers.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

This was due to clicks on my account last weekend (when I was out of town and nowhere near a computer). On 1 day there were 44 clicks and only 33 page impressions. Somehow google believes that I found a way to click on ads without a page impression? I e-mailed them last monday and have yet to hear back from them, 1 week later. In the meantime the $80 and change I had in my account is GONE.

I figured I should let everyone know that at any given time google can shut down your account and take your earned money without notice, or cause.

Do business with them at your own risk!

It is possible to get clicks without impressions. Like Google said, bots, clicking on your own ads (Holding Shift+Click would probably open the ad in a new window just like a regular link - Shift+Clicking on 4 ads on a single page == 1 impression, 4 clicks).

I've been with AdSense for over a year now, and never had a problem.

I have to say though, 44 Clicks from 33 Page Impressions is extremely unlikely under natural browsing conditions.

Would suggest you to write back to google and try to explain your situation. If they found you true, they mught reinstate your account!

Remember, what google is doing is to protect publishers interest. Finally, they are the one who are paying for the ads!

That’s unfortunate. AdSense would favour only sites that get allot of traffic because anyone can “small” site banned. At the same time merchants must be protected so where do you draw the line?

sadly there are people who would come to your website and click multiple times like Axe describes, just for kicks.

Hi,

That's unfortunate. I suggest that you try to contact Google to explain your case and possibly have your account reinstated.

Good luck!

That means somebody can lead us to ruin? If I hate one of you, and find your site has adsense banner. Constantly click to that banner can make your account disable.
How risky ..

on the evidence here that must be true but I still don’t believe it. I still think the IP's you log in to AdSense is recorded. If you use a network (like school/office) that IP is recorded and when a friend visits your site and accidentally clicks on them then your banned.

Don’t go blaming your friends if is a network IP issue… you should only log in from your home PC.

Which one is being banned, is it URL or Google Adsense Account?
If Google Adsense account is the one that is banned, why don't just make a new account in somebody else's name?

Not trying to ruin your day but I have heard plenty of cases like these ones...
The only thing I can say is that they never get a chance to use the service again...Google is extremely tough on this issue...However, if it serves of any comfort... the guy at AssociatePrograms.com got out of it...
I guess you can try contacting him for some advice...

good luck
