hi,
if you use google adwords to advertise your business, and for example your advertisement is on a pr 8 site, will google spider that link and add it to your page rank ?

No,

The Google ads are not spidered by google so they don't give you any advantage. They may help with other search engines.

Interestingly if you run a campaign on Overture these are picked up by Google and shown as links.

In my experience this has only a minor benefit.

Hmm...Google might make a lot more money from advertisers if they counted the links! But then website-owners would also hesitate putting outbound links on their site too...

I don't think you'll get the PR if your site showed up on a PR8 page. I think adsense ads are iframe ads so the link text to your site is not really on that page.

This is a good question. Sometimes if your full site name is in your ad you will get another result from sites that adwords displays your ad on but because there is no direct link there isn't any PR trasfer.

I could be wrong but I think that if your Ad is on a page while it's being spidered it shows up as an IBL. I've noticed that since I started doing Adwords I find Amazon pages popping up in my Google IBLS. However when I go to the page I don't find a link to my site. But there are related adwords to mine on the page.

As far as PR. I don't have a clue.
