How much to expect to get paid from ads

Hi,

I am building social networking for specific niche and I am wondering how can be expected to get for advertising once I have 5000 registered users and once I have 50.000 registered users.

Any idea? I would like to get just about info because I have no idea.

you really shouldnt need to know. cause if you cant use a search engine, then you probobly couldnt be able to build a social networking site. I dont want to be mean to you. But common, that just the truth and im just keeping it real.

More than it costs to display them, that's all you can really expect.

Well I added some adv to my site and in one year i earned $110 US and just with a free google url submittion.

Recently rebuilt my site and began posting in forums and blogs... and this is getting better with almost 1 dollar per day

I know this is not to get rich but for a hobby it's ok.
