Are these links all related to your site? Hopefully you already have a Yahoo listing, because I would have spent the $299.00 on that.

As far as buying links, I would look to find which sites are in my category in DMOZ. I would try to purchase as many links from those sites as possible.

When I have finished my website, I won't be buying advertisement space on DigitalPoint or webmaster forums as such, I will be buying Adwords, and hopefully this will attract visitors from the keywords I choose. I will buy advertisement space, but on websites, not forums.

If you want to increase PR when trying to get visitors, I recommend submitting your site to search engines (Like Google Adwords), etc.

How much did you pay for your DP link and how many posts where there for that member?

I personally don't by high PR links. I prefer to buy links on site with high traffic and not for high PR. I just don't think it's worth the money.

I don't spend money on buying links. You just don;t know when Google is going to penalize you on this. When Google does it, you will loose everything.

Never spent a dime on buying links and still get good traffic. I believe Google will find those sites that are selling and rate them lower. Therefore, you wasted money.
