Making money with banners and pop ups.

Anyone here have any expierence with these ad networks?

http://www.[banned domain] - pays $1.00 CPM on banners, and $5.50 CPM on pop ups (US traffic)
http://www.fastclick.com - pays 65% share
http://www.valueclick.com - pays different CPM / CPC rates

Any input is helpful, i'm trying to choose the best provider

I tried one of those dingdongs with my WPSE.com site (gets about 2500 page views/day).

After a couple days of $0/day I took them off, and chalked them up as scams.

Banners and Pop Up's rarely work. Same your money for free search and ppc.

It depends on the kind of site you are running.For some sites im working with http://www.7adpower.com/ and it seams to be okay (popups)

I dont really like pop up anyway but i do heard some site can make few hundred bucks permonth with such advertisement.

The way I understand it,making cash from pop-ups is a quickly dying thing.

Whens the last time a pop-up has not annoyed you?

I think it's time for pop-ups to be like billboards,just a general advertisment(e.g. MacDonalds "I'm lovin it"),and not expecting cash or personal info right on the spot.

Then they may be a good prospect again.

People are still cashing in on banners because,in an act of will,the visitor clicks on it,so there may be some interest already.

Amazon is hot,link to books with related content to your site.

Miracles just aren't happenning anymore.
