Hi,

I currently am running http://www.pay4projects.com and I have some members already and projects are posted. However, it's not enough for me. I want to get a higher ranking and exposure. Is there a way to get more exposure quickly, possibly at a low cost. The site connects freelancers with businesses in order to contract projects. If anyone is interested in partnering there site with me, I would be willing to link swap to share traffic.

Pay per click may we worth a go.

Try Google Adwords - they are always offering $50 vouchers etc for a free trial etc

I currently have a client in the same industry. Are you charging employers or the job searchers?

Rankings take time to build up.

Submit to free directories such as Busines Directory, exchange links, use PPC and post in forums.

Don't forget to add good content!

If you persist in 12 months time, you will have a good ranking.

But this is a very competitive category. My client has a PR of 8 and is still not number 1 for many keyword relating to the industry. Working on optimizing even more now.

in this exception - highly competitive industry - it may be better if you buy a link off another site. :-)
normally, i wouldnt suggest using this way...

or,

if you have the expertise and $$, offer an affliate program to other webmaster sites. it may work out.
