Need help with advertising

I have created an image, video and file hosting website ( //removed) , everything is cool except no traffic at all.

Its been over 2 months since I submitted to major search engine. website is already on google,yahoo,altavista... In directories too.


So I was thinking about paying some money to advertise it . Is this a good idea? or they might be a other solution?

I would always recommend testing through PPC...like Google, MSN and Yahoo. Your site is still very new, so organic traffic is still awhile away depending on the keywords you are going after. The advantage to PPC is that you can get immediate track, just monitor it, optimize it until it's profitable.

money is always a good way to get traffic... getting links and create a couple blogs might also help
