Hi,

I would like to increase the number of visitors to my site (as most do), although I am stuck for how..... I have added my site to as many free directories etc. as I could find, but the click throughs I get on them are awful.

I am also currently signed up to Google Adwords, and most of my traffic appears to be coming from there, although not a lot of it.

I am basically looking for ideas on how to increase the traffic further... paid (rather tight budget), or free.

For reference the site is: http://www.atomicphp.com

Regards.

If your looking into traffic then try using general keywords in adwords.

1. consider having a blog to provide php coding tips & news for several popular scripts. ping your blog post to many web 2.0 bookmark site.

2. use yahoo search marketing, msn adcenter.

3. get back link from some php coder blog which have hundreds of reader or rent a text link on their blog.

for long term, buy lots of relevant links

for short term, use ppc for a lot of cheap long terms, MSN is very good for these if you're willing to work with thousands of keywords
