Unfortunately, I can't say that know of any other sites that perform the same services as the ones you mentioned, and in fact, I'm reticent to admit that I'd never even heard of PPV before reading your post.
It looks to be a solid concept, however, and based on the fact that Metrics Direct claims over 20 million opt-in users, I'd guess that it could be a viable option for many different markets.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but if you do decide to pursue this (or already are), I'd be interested in knowing what kind of results you get.
